What compliance checks do we do on our doctors?
We to go great lengths to ensure the compliance of our Doctors is to the highest standards. We fully adhere to the NHS Code of Practice and the contracts we hold. We provide our clients with the following documentation before a Locum Doctor commences employment:
- Up to date CV with the names of two referees from your last two engagements
- Copy of passport and evidence of entitlement to work in the UK (visa if applicable)
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure issued by Medecho (Police Check).
- Training Certificates (BLS/ILS or higher ALS/ATLS/ APLS)
- Evidence of immunity for Hepatitis B Antibody, Measles, Rubella, Varicella, and TB/BCG Scar Report
- Evidence of full registration with the GMC/copy of GMC certificate
- Certificate of Higher qualifications (Medical Degree)
- Registration pack & Medical Questionnaire (provided by Medecho)
- The following reports are required for Exposure prone procedures (EPPs) on an Identified Validated Sample (IVS):
- Negative results for Hep B surface antigen, Hep C antibodies and HIV 1 & 2
Can we arrange work permits for our doctors?
Yes we can, we have a Service Level Agreement with an affiliate that allows us to process Tier 1, Tier 2 visas.
What documents do you need to register with us?
Our registration process could not be easier, all we need from you is listed below, please note we can help in arranging a DBS and/or Work Permits.
- Up to date CV with the names of two referees from your last two engagements

We provide doctors to a nationwide demographic our hospitals are spread across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We supply doctors to the NHS and the Private Sector and currently have an envious portfolio of clients which grows on a weekly basis as our business development team is constantly opening new relationships with new hospitals to feed the ever growing interest from our doctors who want to experience new and exciting work environments.
How long would it take for my application to be processed?
As soon as you register online, your application form will be sent straight to our registrations email inbox, once received your application will be put into the database and will be allocated to a member of our recruitment team , depending on how many applicants we have in a day you should be contacted within a week.
What should I do if I’m interested in a job that is on the website?
If you are interested in a job which has been posted on our website, all you need to do is go to Locum Job Search, find the job you’re interested in , click on it and follow the steps in order to register.
